Software subscription is free and available to students who are active and currently enrolled in classes.

The following is a list of software available for students for home use. It is the expectation of the College that students using such software comply to the specific software license agreement guidelines indicated within the software itself.

Available on CUNY Virtual Desktop

City Tech active students have the ability to use CUNY Virtual Desktop to access desktop applications such as ARGIS, SPSS, SAS, Matlab, Maple, Mathematica.

To access the software, you need to install the CUNY Virtual Desktop.

MS Office 365

City Tech active students have the privilege of downloading the Microsoft Office Suite for free, to a maximum of 5 devices.

McAfee VirusScan provides complete, proactive malware protection for Mac systems and users. Using proven protection methods, it stops all types of viruses and malicious code, including spyware, adware, Trojans, and new, unknown threats.

To access the software, you need to login to CUNY Portal and download the software from CUNY eMall.
